It's been a while. A while since I wrote, a while since I slept, a while since I knew. Yeah, I knew, even before, and you know what? I did it anyway. Who wouldn't? Who would pass up that chance?

They say you get one perfect hand in life. Let it go, and it's gone forever.

So my legs are ruined. So my car's in a ditch somewhere.

Close, but I've neither seen nor read it. Actually inspired by too much hard-boiled fiction and a very random inclination. Certainly not what I sat down to write.

Ah, well, I've only seen Sin City. It's not my typical fare, there is simply too much malice and violence done by the antagonists for my taste. The setting ultimately justifies the violence, which makes it quite tolerable.

So... what sort of thing did you set out to write?
