1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
So many things, most in October/November. Getting drunk, at least one other illegal activity, being completely honest with people... I also went on vacation without my family twice over the summer.

2. Did you keep your New Years resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't make resolutions for New Years.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Also no, happily.

5. What countries did you visit?
I was in Greece for the very beginning of 2006, so I guess there.

6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
More of a work ethic. The last month of school was very very rough without it.

7. What date from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory and why?
November... 4th? Maybe 5th. Or maybe it was the 4th running into the 5th. Also the 20th. Reasons that will remain undisclosed.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I branched out a bit.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Letting school fall by the wayside this semester.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
A couple of mild colds, nothing too serious. That was a nice change after the mono from last year!

11. What was the best thing you bought?
My spindle!

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
With my friends, we're basically always mildly celebrating.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Mine, and his, and his too.

14. Where did most of your money go?
To yarn and spinningn fiber.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Learning how to spin yarn. Lace. Socks.

16. What song will always remind you of 2006?
"The I Love You Song" from the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Listening to a song nonstop for days in a row will do that to you.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you happier or sadder?
Considering I was stuck in Greece at this time last year, happier.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Letting go.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Overthinking.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
The same way I have been spending Christmas - spending the day with my family, possibly going out to see a movie.

22. Did you fall in love in 2006?
Can't say that I did.

23. How many one night stands?
Hehehe. "Five. Five nightstands. One. One nightstand. ONE NIGHT STAND!" .... None.

24. What was your favorite TV program(s)?
I was introduced to both House and Monster, and haven't looked back.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
It takes a lot for me to hate somebody. I don't think there is anyone I actually hate.

26. What was the best book you read?
Honestly? I don't know. I read so many books in a short enough time span that they all kind of mush together. I do remember liking Anansi Boys, by Neil Gaiman, a lot.

27.What was your greatest musical discovery?
I learned that I can be more expressive while playing piano.

28. What did you want and got?
You can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes you get what you need.

29. What did you want and not get?
Er... see above.

30. What was your favorite film of this year?
I think I learned about Wallace And Grommit this year, so, all of those!

31. What did you do on your birthday?
Probably nothing exciting. I visited a friend at Fordham the preceeding weekend, though. It was sort of a three-way birthday party on nobody's birthday.

32. Whats one thing would have made your year more satisfying?
Not having MERT called for me, resulting in an all-night stay at a hospital plus a month-long headache.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
Sexy librarian.

34. What kept you sane?
One Steve, two Evans, and lots of Tetris.

35. Which celebrity did you fancy the most?
Johnny Depp. Mmm.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
*cough*

37. Who did you miss?
I am with my best friends nearly constantly at school, which leaves not much opportunity for missing them.

38. Who was the best new person you met?
Laney.

39. What was a valuable life lesson you learned in 2006?
Be honest with yourself and you'll save yourself a lot of hassle.

40. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
You never know 'til you reach the top if it was worth the uphill climb.
