I hereby disassociate myself with any holiday activities. This is one of the most fucking ridiculous concepts to grace out planet. first off, i respect your opinion fully...
..maybe though..the gift giving part isn't so bad..like you said..it's tradition..and not expecting gifts is definately something more people should do...but giving people made or bought gifts because it's tradition and because you care about them..i don't think is so bad at all..
i agree with you on the whole cheerful comment about how people should try just being as happy all the time as they get when the holidays come around...but for some reason people like pretty things and when they see xmas lights and decorations and hear xmas music all over the place..it makes em kinda cheery
..(or it just pisses them off =])..
i didn't mean to argue if what i said sounded anything like that.

it's a good excuse to give and receive. for all of our poor asses, too bad we can't give all year.
i did give blood a few months ago. that is free on the surface, but the things consumed to produce that blood cost money.
