Here in Florida, the IC winners have already been decided - anyone else gonna show up in Ft. Collins, CO? I'd love to start getting in touch now and meet up there. This is my first time going and I'm going to be so impressed and shown up by all of you

Hey! I'm a NZer, our winners were decided in October last year. My team came first in the senior division too, and also the dramatic presentations! :) We've been to IC once, that was last year when we were in the middle division.

I'm so looking forward to IC already! It'll be just fantastic!

Where was it last year?
I'm so exciiiited.
My team is kind of a hodgepodge of people - two 17-year olds, one 16-year old and one 14-year old.
It's crazy, I can't wait to see you there!
I hear they trade things at a big swap meet sort of thing, true?

Last year it was also at Fort Collins. The campus is so big there, took us ages to walk anywhere. But it's a really nice place. My team is a group of 17 and 16 year old girls. And yeah, there's a big swapmeet before and after the opening ceremony where everyone trades little things from their states/countries! So much fun, I still have my stuff from last year lying around!

Well, our state bowl is in 2 DAYS and I am ridiculously excited, the Michigan IC qualifiers will be decided upon then.
I'm on a team of seniors, who have done our best to screw ourselves out of a trip for the last 3 years, so I am praying this is our year.

Unfortunately, no...

We placed 2nd in the state. At first I was really disappointed, but then realized that since we did better than all the other Lakeland Teams (my high school; we had 11 teams qualify to go to the state bowl this year) I should be excited anyways.

I hope you all have fun and post pictures when you get back!!

I'll let this comm know! My official team didn't make it to State but the other tram in our grade did, and since I'm an alternate I could technically go with them if they make it to CO, but that is prom weekend so probably not!

We went two years ago, in Kentucky. MAN, it was fun.
