What exactly did you mean by 'excerpt'? The summary? I can't find it in the WaybackMachine. The folks at TaPiR want to help but it's hard to report if there's no evidence.

Like I said, I dunno how much else of the story has been taken because it's down, so I'm contacting the author to ask her/him to take a look ad see what she/he wants to do about it.

According to roguemudblood on TaPiR, the powers that be at fictionpress (which are the same as those at ff.net) should may still have a copy in cache somewhere that they can compare it to. I'll pass the word along about the summary.
