Video Games [POINTLESS FIC] PG-13

A/N: So, I'm going to attempt to make a POINTLESS side story.
PG-13.
Romance.
Story takes place during chapter 2 of the comic, after the roof-phone-call scene.
The beginning is a little rocky because I suck at writing and I made it up as I went. LOL

Alex's POV

I hate video games. I hate video games more than I hate anything, but I'll tolerate them for you. I don't care how we spend our time together, just as long as you're next to me, as long as you're in reach, and as long as you're... you're happy. It's the only thing that matters.
You laugh at me as I lose another battle, your big green eyes taunting me with victory. It makes me so frustrated, I toss the controller next to me on the couch, filling the small space between you and I. Your expression changes slowly. Evolving from giddy, to questioning, to sad. It's not like I want you to think that I don't want to be here, that I don't want to play with you anymore. I don't want you to be sad. It broke my heart that day on the roof when I saw you cry for the first time, and you couldn't tell me what was wrong. I never want to see you cry again, Benj,
Afraid of upsetting you, I pick up the controller and scoot closer on the couch, filling that space. Our legs are touching and I lean into your shoulder with mine. You try not to break your attention from the television. I can tell you want to win this round more than the last, but distracting you from your game has turned into a game of my own.
As you kill off my teammates, one by one, I lean in. My nose and lips brush against your cheek, and I watch as you blink your eyes, trying to ignore it. I decide to turn my waist so I'm facing your side and go in for the kill. I nip at your neck as light as I can, but enough to try and get you to pay attention. You ignore me again, but you lean into my touch as I draped my arm around the back of your neck and over your shoulder. Rubbing your collarbone with one hand, and still holding the controller with my other, I peck at your jawline, ghosting over it with my lips from chin to ear.
Your face finally heats up and I feel it radiating. As I continue to paint your face with ghost kisses, trailing my lips from place to place, everything goes quiet and I pull back to see you looking at me. Your gaze locks with mine for a moment, but then I caught it. That glance you made, looking at my lips. I couldn't help smile in return. You blush a darker color and lean further into the couch with my arm still around you. It's cute as you tilt your head back to rest on my shoulder, finally giving up.
As you smile I get lost in the moment. Leaning in to kiss you, you meet me half way, and I get butterflies. I wish we could stay like this, together, no one and nothing else... No video games. I can't help but laugh at the thought.
Oh, that reminds me. I ease out of the kiss and look at you. I wonder why you look confused but I now realize that I have a wicked grin on my face, and I quickly try to hide it. After gathering myself together and tighten my grip around your shoulders, "I won," slips from my lips. You sit there and stare at me. Completely emotionless for about 5 good seconds until you burst out laughing. I couldn't help but join you.
After calming down a little and wiping the tears from your eyes, you wrap your arms around my neck and bring me down for a kiss. You know, I think I can tolerate video games if they end with kisses.
