New Movie Acquisitions

Through the magic of pre-orders and impulse buying, another batch of kung-fu and samurai movies has arrived at Casa Lindave.

The most notable is Love and Honor, the third of  Yamada Yôji's samurai trilogy, which began with two of my favorite samurai films, The Twilight Samurai and The Hidden Blade. Eager to see this one soon with an appreciative ( Read more... )

Always loved the Five Deadly Venoms. I've had copies of it forever, from a careworn and much watched low-quality VCR'd off of Saturday Action Theatre tape, to a "bargain bin" tape, to a DVD.

Loving kung fu games, I've always wanted to run a "last of the Poison Clan" game, too.

I'm interested in seeing any of these movies - I'll probably have some time on the Vic Day weekend (might be gaming on the sat eve). Tue eve's sometimes work for me as well.

I haven't had Tsingtao/Qingdao in a while!

I'm usually game for any Samurai film, however I have some availability issues too. Friday or Weekend evenings usually work, many others do not.
