Today is for lists, but I'll spare you the roster of domestic chores, especially since one of them involves dog poo. Rather, I'll ask you to chime in on your preference among four vague descriptions of novels I've had on the back burner for way too long. I am torn between VS and W! W is probably the one I would be most likely to read if I were debating among these in a bookstore. I am highly enticed by the Lovecraftian cultists angle. However, it is nigh impossible to vote against anything that involves the phrase the Errol Flynn of a quasi-steampunk city ruled by degenerate sorcerers. Um, yes please.

SV strikes me as the most immediately interesting if I were choosing among books in a store, followed by W. (I think I like standalones better than part of a series, too.)
