I am torn between VS and W! W is probably the one I would be most likely to read if I were debating among these in a bookstore. I am highly enticed by the Lovecraftian cultists angle. However, it is nigh impossible to vote against anything that involves the phrase the Errol Flynn of a quasi-steampunk city ruled by degenerate sorcerers. Um, yes please.

SV strikes me as the most immediately interesting if I were choosing among books in a store, followed by W. (I think I like standalones better than part of a series, too.)
