My mom is going through a lot right now. She has a traumatic brain injury from the two car accidents. She's been diagnosed as having post-concussion syndrome. I'm afraid that she might've had a stroke on top of that. I don't know what to do. I've tried all day to get her to go to the emergency room at the hospital. She's bent on not going.

I know what you mean. Boy, Jane has really done a number on her kids. He opened to her again, and again she disappointed him. They do have issues that need to be worked out as a family as well as, individually. I think it's gonna be really good thing for all of them!

Aww, girlie...*hugs*. Like Mary said, take charge. It's for her own good. Things can only get better because there is always a light at the end of the tunnel! :)

I am so addicted to House of Carters and it's not just because it's Nick, I didn't want the episode to end. I think we should start a line to give that boy a hug. *nods* But what really got me is how Nick called bull on his mom's ploy to get money when everybody else was freaking out. It's sad that he was right. This family has more issues than Rolling Stone, I just hope they can work them out.

Thanks for the hugs and advice. I've been trying to take charge. I've been trying to deal with her illness for a long time. She didn't want other people to know what's going on. She's tried to downplay it. Well, one good thing came out of the other day. Our family now knows what's going on. Scott knows better what we're dealing with. She was afraid to let him know too much because she thought he'd leave her. Can you imagine? Of course, he didn't and wouldn't. She's going to see the neurologist soon

I can't imagine how hard it has been for you. But you're strong, and it sounds like you are on your way to making things better! :)

Exactly. I think it's kinda like the tagline for 'Diary' on MTV: "You think you know, but you have no idea." Hugs all around for all the Carter kids!

It hasn't been easy. My mom went to the ER on Friday. She was there for about 7 hours. They tested her for a stroke. Thank God, they didn't find a trace of one on the CT Scan. Whew! However, there's still plenty going on in her brain. We need to get her in to see the neurologist again. It all takes time.

That is the perfect tagline. I could just hear Nick saying it. It seems like he did in the BSB Diary. Or was that Howie? Hmmm...I can't remember, lol. Speaking of Nick, he was on Valentine's Morning Show this morning on Kiss. He said an earful, let me tell ya. ;)

Eeps! I'm glad they didn't find any signs of a stroke though. It will all be better soon! :)
