Turlough rubbed his temples and stood unsteadily, wondering why he felt so bad. He much preferred to have his head about him during these functions

Annoyingly to this point the only things he found made little sense at all.
He glanced up as he saw a figure enter the room. His gun was within reach.

It crossed his mind that this other man might also be a prisoner here but given the circumstances he felt justified in adding "I trust that gun over there is just for show. In the end, he saw no harm in answering the man's question. "Trion. And you?" He moved closer to the other man, peering at the screen above his shoulder. "More importantly where are we?" Bowie Base One had told him nothing and experience had taught him that knowledge was his best tool for whatever lay ahead.

He ran about halfway down the hall, then added: "DUCK!"

"Fantastic. Always wanted to do that. I was much too polite, though." He wiggled his hand a little. "Come on, get up then. Things to do, Mars to find out about."

"And who might you be?" he asked the man icily as he stood up again with as much dignity as he could manage, given the circumstances.
