The last person Jo was expecting to see, as she came around the corner, was Sarah Jane Smith. Well, no, that wasn't strictly true because there were all sorts of other people she wouldn't expect to see either. But she specifically hadn't expected to come across someone she knew.

"Sarah Jane Smith," Jo greeted her, grinning. "What are you doing here? And who's this?" she asked, bending down to K9. It looked like a dog, but who ever heard of a dog made out of metal?

"This is K9. My dog," Sarah replied, absently petting its head. "And I might ask you the same question."

Sarah might have expected to run into the Doctor, but not to one of his Earthbound companions, who judging by her age had been pulled from about the same time as she was.

"I don't know how I got here," Jo admitted. "I went to bed as usual and then woke up here. I wish I knew if everyone at home was alright." How and what exactly was happening, would be good to know too, but that was less important at the moment.

"Well, if you're here and I'm here, there's bound to be a Doctor around somewhere," He'd know, or at the very least he'd have more information that would help them figure these things out.

"Because he's a robot. Say hello to Jo, K9."

"Hello, Jo." K9 twirled his ears a bit, indicating that he was accessing his memory banks. "You are Josephine Grant and you once travelled with the Doctor-Master."
