Physical Affection: Go for it! Minato, however, enjoys his personal space, so he's not really going to be happy if you cling to him much. |D But if he knows you well, a hug won't hurt. Kissing is another story. He isn't involved with that kind of thing and frankly would probably react to it in a pretty lineface, but distasteful manner and wonder what your deal is.
Physical Violence: HELL YES--I mean sure go for it. Minato's an excellent fighter, though. He can use both guns and his sword on top of wielding his Persona, even for his frail build, he's in pretty good shape and can take a few hits, since he can also heal and protect himself. Though he prefers not to fight if he can avoid it.
Relationships: SOCIAL LINK WITH MEEEE GO FOR IT. He needs friends! On a girlfriend/boyfriend level, though, I doubt he will ever fall in love with anyone, since that's the last thing on his mind. He's a little bit of a brick wall when it comes to even realizing people care about him sometimes, anyway--it confuses him, the idea of others worrying over his safety when he is usually fine and can take care of himself.
Psychic Information: Minato's mind is sort of wide-open for reading; I ask that you contact me if your character is psychic and you want to read his mind, since they will likely also hear the whispers of his Personas (Samael, Thanatos) as well in the back of his mind, which tend to react strongly to death of any sort. In short form, what any empath or psychic would learn from him would be:
- He doesn't have long to live, and his body is fragile and unstable.
- That there is, quite literally, Death itself inside him in Persona form. This would ping anyone who can sense things.
- That he has killed others before, plenty of times.
- That he leads a team of renegade Persona users but does, actually, miss them quite a bit and worry for their sake.
- That his outward general easygoing, neutral, blank attitude is not a facade as much as his feigning coldness to mask how caring about people and his friends he truly is inside. He considers showing that a weakness.
- That he does not understand the concept of dying as being frightening or worrisome, but he also does not particularly welcome it and knows he will die soon.
- He's actually very angry inside at all the experiments and whatnot that happened to he and his friends.
If you need more in-depth information regarding him/his past, just contact me on this post and I would be happy to help you out!
Magical Information: In-depth information on Minato's Personas (as well as his battle information) are over
here, but essentially he can use healing spells, revival spells, ice, wind, and electricity magic, as well as darkness and light skills, and skills to up his or his allies damage, defense, and accuracy/speed. He can also use physical skills from his Persona, and drain SP (or mana) from others when he is running low.
Medical & Psychological Information: See the his
app for his history in-depth stuff for psychics and whatnot.
Basically, Minato is not the healthiest boy, but you wouldn't notice this at first. He must take Persona Suppressors on a daily basis in order to keep his Personas in-check. They are volatile and will attempt to kill him if he does not. Than, atos in particularly is hard for him to control, and will trash out without listening to his commands if he is in an emotional state of turmoil. Thus, he tries to always remain calm and collected, but if he lets his emotions overwhelm him, Thanatos will lash out in an attempt to release his pent-up emotional energy and frustration. ... Either on Minato himself, or on anything nearby.
Being that he has part of Death itself shoved into his psyche, Minato is beyond weird. He appears nonchalant and normal, but he is far from it--his psyche is highly damaged and fractured, thus his ability to summon two Personas (Samael and Thanatos). Thanatos is his untamed emotions in a sense, as Minato himself does not really ever express things. Sure, he feels things, but normally his emotions are highly subdued. While partially he tries never to express anything, even if he is very happy or very sad, he will only show it in the slightest of ways. He is a subtle person, generally, at best, and psychologically not the healthiest kid.
IC Offensive Subjects & Triggers: There isn't truthfully much that bothers Minato. He is fine with killing, or murder, namely the sort where the one intended to be killed he feels deserves that retribution. He and his team selectively would assassinate those they deemed unfit to live and a blight on humanity for money, as well as selling Persona suppressors and other drugs but not taking them themselves, among whatever other illegal activities during the Dark Hour you can think of to survive. That was all they could do on the run. Thus, his morals are very, very skewed.
But you wouldn't know that from a glance, particularly not if you saw him helping a little child find her teddy bear if she approached him. ... Because he would. He hates the idea of innocents getting hurt, but otherwise death does not bother him.
But then, not much ever has. Really, the only thing there are a few things that bother him, but if you DO cross his skewed line, he will be firm about his ideals and very serious.
1) SEES and the Kirijo group. They are his enemy and he HATES them.
2) The hurting of the innocent or using hostages or others to level a playing field to your advantage. He hates dirty, underhanded tactics.
3) Disregarding one's own worth.
4) Causing his team any emotional or physical pain.
5) Scientists, restriction, and experimentation. This... is self-explanatory, really.
Hurt ANYONE he befriends, and you will have a serious issue on your hands. You do not want this kid to hurt you, believe me, he would.
APPEARANCE
Physical: Minato carries himself as a quiet, unnoticeable person. He is fairly short--about average height for a Japanese male (5 ft. something). Outwardly, he is boring as hell, aside from his blue hair, which is more of a messy short mop on his head. His eyes are a drab gray, but they ARE striking when he is serious. There is always very poor posture to how he walks or carries himself (it subtracts from his already somewhat small frame), giving off a relaxed (or lazy) air to him at most times. He has a thin, skinny, but well-toned build. Not exactly muscular, but definitely not as weak as he looks. He fights regularly, after all, but he DOES rely on his Persona more than either of his weapons.
Generally hidden from sight is a scar he'd like no one to know exists, as well. Located on the back of his neck is a black, cross-shaped mark ( ✜ ), an identification from when he used to be part of the experiments at the Kirijo Corporation's facilities. It's low enough NOT to be obscured by his collar, and depending on his clothing it may be easily visible.

He is never seen without his MP3 player and a pair of headphones around his ears. The headphones are high-quality noise canceling clip ons, model ATH-EM700 Audio-Technicas (they were super expensive, probably the ONLY thing he spends money for himself on that isn't music) but he has a cheaper back-up pair of the same color but lower quality)
Usually he can be seen wearing a scarf and a black button-up coat, of which he owns two of (pictures below). It is a distinguishing trait from his canon counterpart that he is usually seen wearing a blue or gray scarf as well as almost always wearing his 'winter' coat, though if he finds the Tower unbearably hot, on some days he may forego that.
