I got home at around 2:30 am. nag road trip kami ng mom and sisters ko. hehe. I was at rockwell yesterday specifically at my mom's office. Nagdistribute ako ng regalo to her officemates from basement 2 to 14th floor. astig. haha!
oo. aamin ako. HINDI AKO MARUNONG GUMAMIT NG XEROX MACHINE! lalo na yung mga may touch screens and multicolored buttons. for the first time in my life, I ws damn thankful for the existence of manongs in our school who would gladly do the job for me and I would have to pay them with a very minimum amount. thank you tomboyish manang of the high school IMC kahit parang utang na loob ko ang magpaxerox sayo! thank you din manong in-charge-of-the-xerox-at-the-college-dept! kahit parating sablay ang dalawang pink mong stapler!
kasi naman, di ko trabaho yun, my mom asked me to xerox a pile of POs for her at the 7th floor's xerox machine. I told her ok lang kasi akala ko I would just place the paper under the hood of the machine press a button and there! tapos na and I would have to do it all over again for the other papers.When I got there, I just stood frozen in front of the machine. I said to myself: "takte, ang daming pipindutin at... bakit may touch screen dito?!" shit. and when I turned around there was this person staring at me, obviously expecting me to do something. nahiya ako0o0o.. I ran to my mom and told her:
"uh..ma.. di po ako marunong gumamit ng xerox machine..!"
at that instant, lahat ata ng andun tumingin sakin as if I was some kind of lunatic. SALAMAT. she told me:
"di yan.. ano ka ba?! oh eto, xerox mo din." *hands me a one inch thick pile of stapled POs.*

for one thing, I dont know what POs are. hell, I dont even know what it stands for. but I walked over to the xerox thing and tried it once more.
good thing when I got there, nobody was around.
I placed a paper underneath the hood and looked at the buttons. there was this big transparent button with a label 'COPY'. I pressed it and boom! nag xerox!! thank you Lord!! =) I got to xerox about 3 out of 20 papers!! but, when I got to the fourth, the touch screen flashed an instruction:
'Real size of paper is A4. Please insert A4 paper'
wtf?!? I know what an A4 sized paper is and look like but where the hell am I gonna insert it?!
I looked down and saw 2 cansiters where they place their paper. one canister read 'B4' the other one read 'F4' [paper size yun?!]. I tried to open both but I only succeeded in opening the one that read 'F4'. When I opened it, there was this small green thing at the right hand corner that you turn and it changes the label of the paper size. I turned it until the label 'A4' showed up. good. I placed back the cover and watched the machine do its work.. BUT THEN, the touch screen initiated another instruction:
"Mishandled paper. Open tray 6 turn knob 9............."
di ko na binasa! alam ko na for one thing I damaged the whole thing. shit.
I can't figure out what it meant! it all looks like xerox jargon to me. I called my mom. when she got there, She started to open whatever can be opened in the machine and slammed the covers when it offered her nothing. Para syang nagdadabog! grabe! she went lower into the machine and I noticed this paper plastered on the outside of the machine. It read:
"To all xerox machine users:
Please do not change the paper settings located in canisters A and B as these may cause paper jamming. If you encounter trouble with the machine please call local **** and look for Lerma.
Thank you.
Maintenance personnel"
wow. wtf was it doing below eye level?!
a series of other catastrophies followe after that such as mistakingly pressing the 'zoom' option on the touch screen and magnifying everything that the xerox machine spits out and other mishandled paper scenarios.
