I have finally seen the first episode of Stargate Sg1 Series nine (Yes, us Brits are always way behind when it comes to American tv shows) It was really good, a little strange not having Jack around but at least he was in the episode, even if it was for about three minutes. You liked it? I thought that episode was awful (the whole season so far is awful, really). A race of super-powerful aliens who want people to worship them as gods...hmm, where have I heard that before? It's gotta be a TV first: writers so starved for inspiration that they rip off their own show.

I do love Ben, though. Seeing him and Claudia onscreen together again was a joyful occasion for me.

I must admit that so far I actually have liked the season:-) Yep, I just do - lol. BUT I know what you're saying, Jack is an ESSENTIAL character that can NEVER be replaced.

I didn't actually say that, but I do agree with it. Having the show without him is just...wrong, somehow.

Yea, it feels weird. And honestly? I've only been a huge fan since mid-season 8, but I've scrambled to try and catch up. I own seasons 1-5, and 7.
