“I swear, I’m being followed,” Jin explained to his friend once more, pacing through his living room. Pin barked and nipped at his feet but he ignored the slight pain. A lot more serious things were going on.

“They’re called fans,” Yamapi reasoned, making himself more comfortable on the couch. His arms spread against the back and he tilted his head at Jin. “Since when have you cared?”

“Because they’re not fans! I can’t explain. It’s like, sometimes I feel a pair of eyes on me when I’m sleeping,” he ran his fingers through his hair and shivered.

“Then stop bringing random girls back to the apartment,” Yamapi tried again, obviously used to the panic attacks Jin would have that were caused by the most harmless of things.

“Do you think I leave them awake when we’re done?” Jin gave him a leer.

Yamapi rolled his eyes. “You don’t seem to be one with interesting pillow talk,” he almost laughed at the glare he received and continued, “So who do you think it is?”

“Aliens.”

Yamapi’s jaw dropped. “What are you talking about?”

“I’m saying, I’m being followed by aliens. They want to take me to their home planet and do all sorts of tests on me. Like put something up my-”

“Shut up,” Yamapi held up his hand and made a face. “If aliens did exist, I highly doubt they would follow you.”

“Jealous much?”

Yamapi could only give his friend an expression of disbelief. He was serious.

“And I think there are a couple of aliens in Johnny’s too,” Jin continued, unfazed by the look.

“Why?” the other man just made himself comfortable on the couch once more. If he wasn’t going to be able to reason with Jin he might as well sit back and play along until it was boring.

“I was walking to your dressing room when I found this device. It had a bunch of weird buttons on it and it’s screen was glowing. When I touched it, it began to vibrate,” Jin reminisced.

“It was probably a phone.”

“That’s what Tegoshi said when I showed him! But I don’t think it is. I think it was one of those walkie-talkie things. From someone here to a space ship.”

“Who do you think it belonged to?”

“The alien.”

“Who do you think the alien is?”

“Matsumoto,” Jin answered, his voice tinged with some dark glee.

“Really?” a playful smile playing across his face, enjoying the banter between the two.

“I hope so. It would explain so much,” wheels could practically be seen turning in his head as images of a green Jun in that prissy clothing was dancing around in his head. Even if Jun wasn’t an alien, he had to talk someone into messing with their computer to make it happen.

“So you don’t have an idea...”

“Nope,” Jin put on a wide grin, causing Yamapi to shift uncomfortably in his seat. It was the grin Jin gave when he had an idea. ”I have a plan.”

Damn it.

----------------------------------------

Men in Black. Honestly, after meeting Will Smith during his show Jin had become obsessed with the Hollywood actor. Forcing Yamapi to come over to his place and watch marathons of the actor’s movies and that one show he was in when he was younger. The one with with the teenage boy moving into his relatives’ mansion after causing some trouble at home. Because all delinquents go to mansions in America, right?

Now here they were. Standing in front of the mirror attached to the wall in the NEWS dressing room, wearing their matching black suits and prepared to attack anything extraterrestrial. Yamapi inwardly rolled his eyes, getting ready for all the teasing he was in store of today. The things Jin managed to get him to do.

“Oh, I wish we could have gotten something to erase people’s memories,” Jin frowned at his reflection at the sudden realization. Then again, he definitely would want people to remember his amazing and heroic deeds that day.

Yamapi adjusted his tie and watched as Jin put on his sunglasses smoothly. “Ready?”

“Let’s get to work.”

“What the hell is going on here?” a scratchy voice came from behind. Yamapi hung his head as Jin spun on his heel and greeted Ryo with a large smile.

“We’re hunting for aliens,” he answered, ignored the confused glance coming from the shorter man.

“We’re capturing them technically,” Yamapi correct, his eyes widening when he realized he was playing along. Damn it.

It started slowly. Ryo’s shoulders were only slightly shaking as a smile spread across his face. Then the uncontrollable laugher began, causing Jin to rest his hands on his hips and glare at the other.

“It’s serious business. A mere man wearing yellow wouldn’t understand.”

“Maybe Yoko could join you guys! He already has the black suit!” Ryo managed to cry out in between breaks of laughter.

“He doesn’t look nearly as snazzy as we do,” Jin retorted, only causing Ryo to laugh harder.

“Let’s get out of here. There are no aliens in NEWS anyways,” Yamapi grabbed his partner’s sleeve and pulled him past Ryo to the door.

“I don’t know. It would explain Koyama’s eyes.”

“What would explain his eyes? Why are you two so dressed up?” Yamapi turned to see the Tegomass duo standing in the middle of the hallway. Tegoshi tilted his head and waited patiently for the answer. The older man just couldn’t handle getting laughed at by them too.

“We’re men in black,” Jin answered easily, straightening up and looking as professional as he could. “We’re looking for aliens,” he continued in a hush tone, looking around suspiciously.

Massu’s attention was caught and he looked up at the duo, the random packet of some sort of condiment hanging from his mouth. “Wah?”

“That sounds like fun. Can we join?” Tegoshi asked, a slight bounce in his stance.

“I already have a partner. But if anything happens to Yamapi you’re next,” Jin nodded.

Yamapi frowned, “What do you mean, ‘if anything happens’?”

“It’s a risky job. You know that. Didn’t you watch the movie?” As if it was the freaking instruction manual for this job.

“Enough with that damn movie! I have an idea. Let’s go check out your group for aliens.”

Jin dropped his jaw dramatically. “KAT-TUN is composed of humans!”

“You challenged NEWS!”

“I’m tired,” Massu interrupted, walking in between the duo and making his way towards his dressing room, Tegoshi nearby and motioning Jin to call him if there are any complications with his current partner.

“Fine. Let’s go there then.”

------------------------------------------

“So there are no aliens?” Jin asked once more as the two sat on the floor of his balcony. He stared up at the sky and wondered if anything was looking back at him.

“None that are following you,” the other man tried to reason once more, loosening his tie and arching his back. Being a man in black was all very exhausting. Jin had forced him to chase down three random juniors that were sneaking peaks at the duo and tackle them down individually, while Jin asked them a series of questions to confirm they were human.

And when the two were at KAT-TUN’s dressing room he tackled Koki as well. Not because he thought the rapper was an alien, but his laughter was annoying and he was furiously texting Toma about Jin and Pi’s new line of work.

“But how does that explain the-”

“Jin,” Yamapi began sleepily, his voice thick and tired, “shut up.”

The other man was going to open his mouth to complain until he felt Yamapi slump against his shoulder. He smiled gently when he saw that he was sleeping. Jin yawned and let Yamapi’s deep breathing lull him into sleep of his own. Blinking slowly, he watched streams of light dance across the dark sky. Maybe there were aliens. Maybe they even wanted to take him to their planet. But a tiny voice in the back of his head reassured him that Yamapi would not be far behind and that’s the thought that made Jin fall asleep easier.

Miles away in the sky a shape in the shape of a disk glided through the clouds.

“Once again, I’m the smartest being on the planet,” Tegoshi grinned widely as he watched the landscape of Earth below him, the lights reflecting against his eyes.

“I’m really going to miss their food,” Massu pouted, earning a chuckle and a pat on his head. Hopefully their next destination would have something similar to gyoza.
