So last night was really fun. I got to play with these shinais Mike talks about so much...turns out it's really really fun.
Well, with the exception of the fact that I can barely close the fingers on my left hand.

Shinai is both plural and singular. The pain turns into a dull ache after about two days. Although I was hit in the thumb particularly badly a few months ago and it still gives me trouble. Just put some ice on it.
