Today was precisely what I needed. Yesterday was filled with friends and two birthday get togethers which were excellent but somewhat exhausting. Today I started out with brunch with Vicky, then continued my hunt for the perfect duvet cover. My treat for the new place is a duvet, as I have had the same comforter for nine years. And I'm hoping that

Hmmm I may have to stop in. I don't see anything on the website I like but perhaps they have something extra in store. I think I have a particular style in my head and am hoping to find it which of course never ends well! Argh. I saw one at Home Sense I liked but it was $200. Soooooo no.

Or rather Home OUTFITTERS, not Home Sense. I found one I like at Home Sense for a good price but it's black [and not the colour scheme I'm hoping for, but it was a beautiful design] and I think it will just be a bit too dark for a basement suite. Wow. I really AM picky, heh.
