Big entry! I can't really relate cause Im ugly and guys despise me, but we're all still young. Just keep your mind on what you want and never settle for anything less or anything that makes you uncomfortable. And a word of advice: if a guy drinks/smokes or has a history of violence or something like that, don't even give him the time of day. A lot of girls think that they can change their guy who has destructive habits but in truth, it's quite rare that that happens. Keep looking, you'll find him eventually.

I can't relate cause nobody likes me in that way and I've never been in a relationship, but I agree with Kai - don't give a guy who doesn't deserve you your time. A wonderful guy will come along and you will notice him for who he is, not how he looks or what he does neccessarily.
