okay i would like to know your views on that case of that feeding tube lady. she is brain dead but they just toke her off of her tube feeding so she will die. WOULD YOU put her back on it? or keep her off? my view is that she may be braindead but that dosen't mean her life isn't of any worth at all. you know? it's like 'lets go get rid of all the ( Read more... )

Originally, I was in favor of keeping the woman on the feeding tube. But then I heard that she had told her husband that if something like this ever happened and if she was braindead, she didn't want to live. And in THAT case, since that's what she wanted, I would say to take her off of the feeding tube. I mean, yes, she should be allowed to live, but if she didn't want to, it's not fair to ignore her wishes entirely.

For the shooting at the school, there's really no excuse whatsoever for shooting people. End of story. I don't care whether your life is fucked up, you do NOT have the right to shoot anyone.

I don't know much about this case, but if a person has said they want to die then they have the right to die. If she did say she wanted to die if she ever became braindead, then I think that should be the case. But it's hard to know when the parents are saying that she would still want to live.

I feel sorry for the kids who do the shooting, but that of course does not give them the right to shoot someone. I don't think anyone should be able to get their hands on a gun, but like that would ever happen in America.

wow it's english class all over again!

well apparently the wife told her husband that she didn't want to live. so really since that was her decision.. it's okay.

now about the shooting.. although it's very sick to shoot people, you never know what's going on in the people's minds. If somebody is going to shoot someone, they're going to shoot them. You can't stop them.

I don't know on the feeding tube thing, I hear so many things on it that change my mind each time.

the shooting I think could of been stopped, there were many signs. I've heard alot on it since I'm a local. =\ but yeah I think it could of been stopped and I feel so sorry for him that he felt he had to do that.
