Another Lease Question

If our lease ends and our absent landlord has not told us to leave or had us sign another lease does the agreement automatically turn into a month-to-month?

This was true in Massachusetts, and I am wondering if it is also true in Minnesota?

As per Minnesota law, a landlord can't enforce an automatic renewal clause of more than two months. The applicable statute is here. If there is not a 2 month renewal clause, than the lease automatically goes month-to-month at the end of your stated lease.
