Words, words, words

Anyone have any book/music/film suggestions? I've been looking for new things and I always have good luck on LJ. I'll suggest stuff too... like a trade but not.

(Can you all tell I am hyper and bored. Damn this town to hell!!)

I saw you on an adding community. And I don't know. I hope you see this because I think it's old. I added you. Add me back?

I'm not really sure what kind of things you'd be interested in.

If you like sarcastic comedy and a bit of escape fiction/superficiality, I'd go with the Georgia Nicolson series by Louise Rennison. There's 8 of them. The first is titled Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging. They're about an English teenage girl and written in diary format.

I really like classic English childrens' authors like J. M. Barrie and Mary Hodgson Burnett. You've heard of them, I'm sure. But Peter Pan, The Secret Garden, and A Little Princess are all really great, in case you haven't read them. They aren't really as childish as you'd think. I like their writing styles a lot. As well as Roald Dahl's. He wrote a lot of excellent short story collections, other than his most popular works for children. Anything by him I'd suggest. Even the childrens' books, actually. All three of these authors have a way with words than anyone could ( ... )

Added you back. Yeah, this is super old and was ment to by FO like the rest of my journal, which thankfully, is not as old or silly.

I really liked the Georgia Nicolson books.

Classic English books make me happy. Alice in Wonderland is one of my favorite things.
