Shouldn't this be: The only aspects of a person that I cared about were whether he or she was...

and "would share their bag of chips" isn't exactly an aspect, no?

that sentence is wrong in so many ways...but how is the teaching going? students are funny, aren't they? i've never taught and not been entertained by my class.

yeah, i heard about mark knowles and the tennis. i got back their first critical articles today and based on tehm i should feel like a failure. ahhaha
