For ar_drabbles  challenge 29, do you see what I see.

She thinks I'm a girly, groupie, sex nympho.

Look who's talking.

I believe in Gaius Baltar. Though I knew from the start that what he was peddling was lies -- there is no divinity -- his personality and subsequent events made me believe. Made me believe in the man, made me believe in myself.

My life was pretty screwed up before, and now I have a sense of purpose. I'm a leader. Gaius challenges me to be better than myself. I'm becoming a different person now, and more than I like Gaius, I like this new Paulla.

Yes, I find Gaius attractive. But I've never slept with him.

Girly, groupie, sex cultists.

Look who's talking.

I'll believe in the gods if Laura Roslin was a believer before the Fall. If she ever believed in Adama's promise of a known way to Earth.

As for sex, it's no secret she's living with the admiral. There are enough women in our home that Gaius and I have never let sex get in the way of our mission, but Roslin and Adama, alone, night after night? They may be leaders, as Gaius and I are leaders. But they're only human. Creatures seeking comfort.

Girly, groupie...

Does she think that the way she looks at Adama isn't obvious? We're not so different, she and I. He's changed her, challenged her, strengthened her. She's no schoolteacher anymore; he's taught her how to relish power. And she's grounded him. He even nods at civilians in the hallways now and then.

Sex.

Love, respect, desire. They hide it in plain sight, and then they talk about us, just because we're tired of hiding, weary of waiting. Because we're open and they're furtive.

Girly, groupie, sex ---

Does it matter any less when the cult comprises only two?
