It's three, three, three challenges in one! Prequel to Caprican Times by bsg_aussiegirl  and sequel to Lady Pub by frakcancer.

Willie Adama never wanted to be a reporter. But when the Guatrau makes an offer, you don't refuse.

"I hear you are one who hears things."

"I suppose." He was twelve years old. "Sir." He was polite. He was terrified.

"You will keep on hearing things. You will tell them to me."

"Of course, sir."

Oral reports turned written in time. On his sixteenth birthday the Guatrau introduced him to Richard Adar, publisher of the Caprican Times.

Willie wasn't Ha'la'tha. He'd sworn no vows, had no tattoos. When his stories in the paper became more detailed and his reports to the Guatrau became vaguer, no one had cause for complaint. Bill Adama was the man they had made him.

He maintained ties with friends in the organization. He fed them bits of rumors which would ease their way and they fed him leads. A mutually profitable situation.

"Got something about that Sagittaron," a friend whispered into the phone.

It was a good story. Breaking news, controversial, front page material. It would scare the skirt right off his new publisher.

Laura Roslin Adar skirtless was something he dreamed of more than he cared to admit.

Today he'd write. Tonight he'd dream.
