For ar_drabbles challenge 71, in response to the prompts "I'd love it if someone would write a drabble where Bill and Laura, IDK, ran a newspaper together or something" and "Bill the Bull God". Set in the Caprican Times AU. Short due to RL constraints (which also explains why I haven't been around LJ much this past two weeks, but I'll try better

Clever use of the 'Bull God' prompt. Simple but effective!

Which means, I suppose, that I'm keeping them in character, because I think that sentence applies equally well to canon A/R.

Oh Laura! He's none of those things! Okay, well maybe there's some stewing going on, but only because there's still an inch or more of space between you! You can make it all better by calling him Bill more often! *and twitching those fingers a little closer*

But the misunderstanding and underestimation can't all be one-sided, can it? Even a smart cookie like Laura will fall prey to error now and then.

Oh absolutely, they're both making some early season rookie mistakes in their relationship...which is what makes it so much fun!

I'd love to hear Bill's comparison of Laura to Caprica! Of course, he's Caprican too so he'll have to be careful....
