This is lovely--it's almost like using negative space in a visual composition. And the image of her wandering his quarters for a Rosetta stone really struck a chord.

This evokes that fundamental difference between Bill and Laura very simply but poignantly; his emotional openness and her, entirely understandable, restraint. But the very fact that she wants so badly to find the way to understand his love and connect with him is a clear indication that, for all her inability to express them, she is not without strong feelings herself. Thank you
