So it's FRIDAY!!!
I meant to post something earlier today but I've been too busy skating with my kids... heh heh heh heh
Yes folks. The rink is now OPEN!!!!!!
It's a little bumpy in places and isn't level.... which is really,..... REALLY fraking odd in my opinion. How in the hell did I get water to freeze on a slope? Dunno... all I know is that it's a little lopsided. Which, of course, my kids think is hilarious cuz when they get to that corner they can 'coast' without having to do anything...
Owen kept saying "Drew!! God down the hill!"
At first I took offense... I mean, COME ON! It might be a little uneven but I'd hardly classify it as a hill... then I had to remind myself that I was dealing with a 4 (almost 5) yr. old.
Anyway, a few more floodings and the Hill will be no longer.
I didn't get a chance to take any pictures today but I'll take a few tomorrow and try to post them.
Please note this icon is on loan from zaleti for this project. She said she thinks it originally came from macayla_csi , whom I do not know but am grateful to anyway.
