Before you go any further it should be clearly noted that I am not a writer.  I simply read a story on survival instinct that was an answer to a challenge.  I enjoyed the story very much and kept thinking about it.  So, for whatever reason, something took hold of me and I decided to write my own answer to that challenge and post it.    That was my

Me again, lol. I forgot to mention something earlier in my PM. When I first started posting stories on LJ, it took a few hits and misses to get the hang of it.

One thing that's good to know is that there is a limit to how long a post can be. If you've got a multi chapter story, it's always best to put one chapter per post. I once tried to fit an entire story in one post and it didn't work.

Also, since your friends will see your posts on their flists, it's always best to hide the actual chapter behind an LJ cut. If you're not familiar with LJ cuts and how they work, I'll be happy to help you out.

I think I've got the LJ cut thing kinda figured out. Is there a bug in LJ that won't let you paste in Rich Text format?

In playing around I figured out that it's easier to cut and past in the HTML mode then switch back to Rich text and then just use the jpcut icon on the menu bar...... I think anyway.. This is my first day and I only got to play with it during nap time so my learning curve is still very steep.

I may be pestering you with a lot of stupid questions over the next few days.

WOW. All 18 chapters at once... That's a lot of reading. THANK YOU. I have a few more chapters written but I just haven't found the time to post them. I'm hoping to do that later this morning.
