Keeping Summer Hours....

 Greetings LJ friends. It’s been a while again! Just thought I’d drop a little note to say ‘Hi’ and check in with y’all.

Things have been super awesome but really busy for us lately. Nothing out of the ordinary, just regular summer stuff that has been keeping me away from the computer and outside with kids… which is exactly how it should be

YAY on the boys doing so well in the pool! that is fabulous! it truly is.

did you get the moth?? had a fly in my bathroom just a few moments ago... do you know how diffiuclt it is to brush your teeth with one of those little bastards dive-bombing you?!?! sheesh!

cool on the hockey! something tells me you'd make an awesome hockey mom!!

and i, too, am VERY excited about the Closer being back on! tis been a couple of incredible eps already. if you want, i can send you a link that you can watch it live while it airs. tis what i do... then i download the ep later that night, or the next day to watch again.

Never got the moth, I nearly stepped on Owen's head trying and then gave up.

I'm excited about hockey too but I'm also concerned that I have him doing too many things this winter. Can you believe we're already talking about winter sports??? Can't believe registration for hockey and skating were this week. Anyway, Owen will play hockey and Drew is in skating but I didn't put Owen in both because I think it's a bit much. He'll also be skiing (although, that's only 8 weeks) and I will be taking them to swimming lessons in the fall. I don't want to become one of those people who have their kids registered in something every night!

I have no idea where I'm going to find the money for all the equipment and stuff! LOL, maybe the money fairy will come visit????

It's been kind of crazy busy around here, too between boat trips and camping trips and other things.

I love that you're posting from the tent! We're heading off in a few hours to camp at a state park for a couple of nights with some friends. It should be an absolute blast.

I hope you can find someone to take pictures at your inlaws' anniversary party. They'll be priceless treasures in years to come.

Hope your camping trip was a good one. I'm hoping to take the boys on a real camping trip in a couple of weeks... as soon as hubby gets the kitchen finished. LOLs

We had an absolute blast! The weather was fantastic during the day, though cold at night. We were up in the mountains, but it's usually warm there in July at night, too--just not this year.

I hope you do get to go on a real camping trip--your boys will love it!

the dog is doing better. I've taken to mixing a little gravy in her food to get her to eat it and so far it seems to be working. it seems like she still has an appetite but just doesn't want her regular food. * shrugs *

I'll definitely take a shot of my dude all dressed up and ready to go... Can't wait
