Well, we said goodbye to our Beautiful Girl today.  It was incredibly sad.  After talking about it all weekend with my hubby we finally agreed yesterday that it was the best thing for her...didn't make it any easier.

SIERRA - We'll miss you my beautiful Puppy Girl!

She really was a great dog... can't believe she's gone.

That's the shitty part about having pets... they die on you. Some stick around for years and years but eventually you have to say goodbye.

We'll miss her.

I'm actually crying right now. I had my cat on my lap when she was euthanized. It was undoubtably the hardest decision of my life.

I'm really glad I decided to be there. I was lying down beside her on the blanket and just talked to her softly while I rubbed behind her ear while he gave her the injection. I know it's kinda silly, I realize that she was just a dog, but I'm so very glad that I know that the very last thing she heard and felt was my voice and me rubbing her favorite spot.

...... Okay, getting all teary again!
