LJ is apparently at it again with hijacking of outbound links. It's a hamfisted enough effort that I actually noticed it in Firefox. At the bottom of every page, every time I loaded my Friends Page, I saw a thing that said, "Transferring data from outboundlinks.me" and it never really went away. Since I've been using Lj a bit more on my computer, I went ahead and added the filters to my abp. Thanks for the info. I hope Lj sorts this crap out. Again. Sigh...

I'm not worried about viruses or anything for this stuff, but it is complete asshattery to hijack links like that. Especially if it's triggering scripts to run and you've got multiple pages open. My Firefox was crawling and even crashed once. I'm hoping this will clear a lot of that up.

Yeah, I'm not worried about the safety. I trust Lj on that respect. At the same time, last time this happened Lj didn't seem to know WHAT it was the new code was doing.
