I admit I didn't know much about the runaways, (though I swear I've heard Cherrybomb before...maybe someone covered it. >.>) Such a kick ass song I've discovered since watching the originals preform it on youtube. I may have to check out more of their stuff.

The movie looks interesting, Dakota Fanning, hot. (Yeah, still don't feel okay saying that.) Kristin Stewart also looks not unpleasant and now I know about Joan Jett, I can picture Sam a little better.

Hope you liked the reviews at FP...I might not even be finished there just yet. I think grabbing a shovel is next on my list.

I imagine the version of Cherrybomb that you've seen on YouTube is their performance in Japan. Consider that every girl on that stage is under 18, most notably Cherie (in her corset, panties and stockings) is only 16 at best. I've got three Runaways albums that I've been listening to here at work (but only by myself, I don't wan to drive everyone crazy), plus I've been madly looking for everything I could find about the movie. Keep running across the same trailer and some old videos of theirs. They do a great cover of We're All Crazy Now (I will not spell it that goddamn convoluted way that Quiet Riot did ( ... )
