[Alonso has been feeling the need to get away from what has been going on around the Nexus for the last few weeks, but while the Portal has been broken, there is only so far they are able to go. The car ride is mostly silence from Turlough, with the exception of a few pleasantries and a thank you for the surprise. Getting away is what they needed. The silence isn't entirely from Turlough's injury. There is something he isn't telling Alonso. And with this lovely surprise he feels that now is neither the time or place. Or perhaps it wouldn't ever be. The fake portal had done nothing except shown him he gets what he deserves more often than not.

Getting into the cabin, Turlough insists on carrying his own bags and gives the cabin an appreciative look as they walk in.

"You've outdone yourself."

Turlough's speaking has improved but it's still along way to go. He's walking without much pain, which is an improvement.

[Alonso didn't mind the silence on the car ride. Truthfully there were still things they needed to talk about, but this was not the time. Perhaps later in the evening, or tomorrow. What he did know, was that they needed to talk before they left this place.]

I hoped you would like it. [It had all really been for Turlough, even if Alonso himself needed to get away as well.]

Turlough carefully sets down his bags before passing Alonso with a kiss on the cheek. "It's lovely." He heads to the kitchen, rummaging to see what's there before pouring two glasses of wine for them.

[Alonso smiles at the kiss and takes both their bags into the bedroom. When he comes back out he takes the glass from Turlough with another soft kiss,] Did you look outside?
