You've got to substitute the actual pixel height of your image for the '0' in the fourth line, and similarly set the top and bottom margins as many pixels as you want, and then you insert the url between the "". I have the width set to 100% since my banner is the same as my journal width, but if your banner is smaller you should probably set the width in pixels there instead (like for the height.) Then you just hit save and the banner will hopefully show up. :)

There's a bit of code that you can paste into the "Custom CSS" section of your Customize Options:
