You could apply for the language assistantship program. You get paid about 900 euros a month to teach 12 hours a week in a French middle school or high school. It's a great opportunity to improve your French. http://www.frenchculture.org/

Is it only for Americans? I'm Canadian. Sounds pretty interesting though, thanks! I've heard French kids can be pretty unruly... :-)

I have Canadian friends who did it, so it must be possible! I did two years as a language assistant and then two as a lecturer at a French university, so my experience has been awesome.
