From Guildford the down-line followed the Wey valley to Godalming, then, over Milford and Witley, proceeded to Haslemere and on through Petersfield towards Portsmouth. Roughly parallel to it, the up-line passed over Worplesden, Tongham, Puttenham, Elstead and Grayshott. Ouch.

I have to wonder which hurt more ... the juniper bushes, or the memories. I'm sorry you're dealing with all this, sweetheart. You don't deserve it. I wish there was something I could do.

*hugs* Thanks, Dan. It just has to pass, I guess. I dont know how long it will take, but I'm sure it will heal over time. (The emotions, not the scratches. *grins*)

You know, as hard as it is to get over having your heart broken, it makes you appreciate love all the more when it finds you again. And you have the added bonus of learning from mistakes of the past and not doing the same things again.

You're right, emotions become less sharp with time. Anyone you truly love will always stay in your heart, but with time the memories become blurred and you only remember the good things and don't dwell so much on the bad ones.
