Six months ago,

the day was short.

For many of us, it was cold outside,

and the sun stayed closer to the horizon.

There was a longing for the warm days of Spring.

More than a longing -

perhaps a need.

And now,

the sun is at its highest in the northern half,

and rises and sets in the same place these few days.

A time for celebration.

Plane leaves at 10 something tomorrow morning, and I'm heading up to Las Vegas to be there early in the morning. This is the second year I have had the opportunity to teach in Europe, and needless to say, I'm jazzed. Please keep me in your prayers and good thoughts.
