I read On the Road again in september. I was all set to hitchike from Portland to Eugene when I came down, but damn Ian had to offer me a ride.

This summer I'm determined to hitch to my beloved cousins in Pennsylvania, with my notebook, camera, and tape recorder. I'll send you postcards.

And hopefully I won't be raped. Though I'm sure it would be a hell of an experience.

Yeah after I read On The Road I wanted to hitch hike but I guess it's a bit more tricky for us girls. Although, the guy I talked to today said he wanted to go to california and invited me to hitch down there with him over the summer. So I may. It sounds like one hell of an experience and it's a little less intimidating when youre doing it with someone else. I would be afraid of getting raped too. Scary world we live in now, not quite Jack's turf from back in the day. Send me postcards I would love to see where you were. I'll have to tell you about this guys experience though, some of the stories he told me were really funny. Maybe if you called me I would tell you Biatch. *slap*
