We run from what we don't wish to confront

And the hand that guides me is twirling me in circles, spinning and dipping me as if we were a part of some elaborate two step.
The fate of the world rests in the discovery of one glass slipper and one lost girl.

The condom is the glass slipper of our generation. You slip one on when you meet a stranger, you dance all night, then you throw it away... the condom I mean, not the stranger.

I don't pretend to know what you're talking about, nor do I need to, (though my ear is ready if you need to talk to someone about anything of course), but I contribute a couple of cents nonetheless.

Often what is fled and avoided is not confrontation itself but the running in your own. To flee only delays the inevitable and worsens whatever the situation may be in the long.. in the long run. To not address your own flight reaction is akin to putting a bullet in your gut. You'll survive if you treat it, dying as Nature ordains, but if you neglect it, you will be in pain for the rest of your short days.

A gruesome analogy I know, but I believe it to be accurate.

That is one of the best analogies I have ever seen chris, the condom/slipper part.
