Bon soir mon cherie! I'm in Paris - or a suburb called Franconville. It is so hard not speaking French - when I see the words I can figure them our because they are similar to Spanish, but I have been to all of Cécile's families' houses and no one speaks very good English. Today I saw la Tour Eiffel, Montmarte et Sacre Coeur, Notre Dame, la Seine. Tomorrow I think we are shopping for Xmas gifts and Wednesday I am on my own so I will see the Moulin Rouge and the Louvre. I learn more French everyday! I'm so used to speaking in small English words that people can understand so I can't make complicated sentences anymore! I miss you and love you... bisous!

aww magboot that was the most adorable message ever! Tell Cécile that 'je suis très contente que tu (Maggie) as une amie française qui est tellement sympa--je sais que c'est difficile de faire les traductions entre le français et l'anglais, sur tout quand tu es la seule qui parles les deux langues. Donc, merci bien, et bisous!' Alright, I'm sure that's riddled with grammar errors (I can't even speak/write english with out making stupid mistakes) and the two of you will laugh at my pittiful attempts at french... hahaha

I have so many stories to tell you already! I hope we find each other. I have lots of feelings about studying abroad that I'll share with you, and how I was crying not beacause I would miss it, but because I feel like I wasted an entire semester. Long story. I had no one to say goodbye to-- no one. And as we left there were British boys running along side the bus to say goodbye to 2 girls. Sigh... I could have done so much more - but I guess you trade a social life for travaling. See you Sat! Bisous!
