Hey, so I'm being completely random. I found you through your wife, who's journal gave me some pretty good laughs when I was trying to deal with a lot of the same military bullshit. And I apologize already for bringing that up, and I'm sorry for the current situation you've been going through. Just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy reading your journal, and as I'm trying to not make this as long winded as I typically do my intro-rants, I just wanted to ask if you didn't mind my adding you?

I would be thrilled! Almost as much as I am to know you actually LIKE reading my journal. So you are/were in the military yourself? or you are/were involved with someone in the military? Oh and if you are indeed a veteran to my journal, you should know I'd be quite the hypocrite to chide someone else for being long winded. Rant your heart out.

Well, I actually married into the military. There's no other reason I would put up with such bullflop if not for the fact that I wasn't crazy in love. 'Crazy' being the key word here. Eegads, it is quite nothing like I imagined.. I was one of the silly naive ones who thought of the military and imagined respect and honour, and helping your fellow man to protect his country!(His country, actually, I'm a proud Canadian). Well, that soon went all down the shitter.. I've never seen such disrespect, disregard and out right pigs and assholes than I have with the people and enviroment my husband works with. A mass murder spree has become more and more tempting. What shocks me most though is that it seems my frame of mind is rare and I mostly get shunned for ever daring to question the people and bullshit my husband and I go through.. So since I'm seemingly not accepted by the gen. population of military personel/spouses, I have to search for those of an understanding mind, who have seen what I have seen and don't agree to take it. Alright.. ( ... )
