the call of Cthulhu

Typically, i'm not posting video links on here, but good satire of over-marketed Plain Tight Wheeze songs has me making an exception. i haven't heard an interesting parody of it since Randy played us that "it's what i'll do to you" version 10ish months ago, and this one has probably been linked before in my circle of awareness, but i'm always late ( Read more... )

As it's a $30 import and my usual "channels" aren't panning out, i've been picking it up piecemeal from PTP sharing. i have about 2/3 of the album.
If Zombina a) stops being sick and b) decides to tour over here, i'll gladly buy it from her directly. ;)

Ah, I could just give you a burned copy. I doubt they'll ever tour over here, not anytime soon anyway...... Also, if your picking it up piece by piece did you find the unlisted hidden track "something weird" after I go psycho, it's certainly one of the more fun tracks on the CD, too bad it's a pain to get to with normal listening.

i was wondering why "I Go Psycho!" was 16+ minutes long and finally got around to listening to the whole thing.
i usually edit hidden tracks, either as separate tracks or i chop out 95% of the silence. It's a silly holdover from the heyday of CDs.
But i'll wait til i have the entire Zombina album before i tool around with fixing that.

Another CD quirkification that comes to mind is an early NIN album that had 99 track markers, although there were just 10 or whatever songs. My boombox would count through them all til track #99. Mildly amusing.
