So, I saw my dad yesterday. He looked damn good for having had his entire chest rearranged the day before. I did get a bit more information from the step-mom as well, which was nice.

Wow, that adds new definition to the concept of "close call." I'm so glad he's doing well.

(As a side note, I think the plural of "bloody mary" is "a whole lot of alcohol.")

I am very glad to read this good news. I have been following the situation though I didn't post a comment. This is a great blessing that I pray will be the beginning of a long healthy time. God bless your dad and your stepmom. (Not telling you they were in town. Adult parents can be like teenagers sometimes. But it worked out for the best and that is what counts.)

The plural of Mary is Marys. Take from someone who used to have to say a lot of Hail Marys for penance.

What a relief that he was able to get help and that he's improving now. Whew. Enjoy those plural Bloody Mary drinks.
