:( for feeling bad. I get the impression that one has a depression when one's doctor decides so, and that doctors often disagree. I guess what it should be about is how you feel, which is totally complicated, and if it's bad, what you should do about it. Seeing someone is not just for people who get the depression sticker on their forehead... but neither is, you know, a couple of days on your own, or an afternoon talking with a friend, or a self-help book, or a good think, or pro-and-con lists, or movies that make you feel good. idk. all of those have helped me out. And hey hey, feelings are feelings: if you feel bad, the last thing that's going to make you feel better is getting all stern and frustrated with yourself. idk. I guess I'm trying to say that it sucks feeling bad and I hope you work it out, and I hope you know that there's so so much you can do to work it out faster. :( idk. big hugs.
Pssst. Just a suggestion: have your hormone levels checked.
And congrats to my fellow Oregonians, whomever they might be!
And you know what I just spent the past couple hours doing? Re-reading a bunch of my stories at the Quill. You know, some of 'em aren't half bad. Makes me want to re-read POA and OOTP. Talk about getting depressed, though.
Hugs...I so know that feeling babe, and its nothing to feel ashamed of, and it is certainly something to go to someone and talk about if you feel up to it. Believe me, you aren't alone in those feelings, you really aren't.
*big hugs* I know just how you feel about looking at similar people in same age bracket. *nods* I hear you so so much. (Hey, are you going to be around (in teh city) in mid August? I'll be up there from about the 14th through 18th and would love to have lunch or something! :))
