Oh man. HAPPINESS would have been a great word! And it's so perfect for you. Last year my mom picked IGNORE, which was a total stroke of genius on her part, I think. This year she chose OPPORTUNITIES. Another flash of brilliance!

Happiness is a great word, and I think there's a large degree of choice in happiness, so go you for making that choice.

There's an interesting blog on Slate called The Happiness Project -- I look at it every once in a while and it has ideas of things to do to bring about happiness. Might be worth skimming.
