Sorry that your playing the friendship game. It sucks, but I've come to this realization myself. I think the majority of it has to do with the fact that we are now filling that sterotypical 'adult' role now....you know...Careers, getting married, taking vacations, planning on having kids, among other things, etc....that people loose site of their friendships. Life just gets busy and the time for friends that we once had is no longer. Not that the friendship is done, but it just makes things harder to make that effort. Although, that is NOT an excuse. I make sure that I pick up the phone and dial my friends up cuz that's typically what you do when you care about someone or want to keep up the relationship you have with them

I not really that bitter about my friends any more. Just feeling the loss. But I think that's just how life goes - at least for me anyway.
