No, *I* have more dignity and self-respect as a nonsmoker. This has NOTHING to do with you or how *you* feel about yourself and your smoking. Personally, my addiction was so strong that I did things I was not proud of as a smoker to get my fix. And, as a smoker I would feel guilty about smoking around children and other impressionable people - even smoking around friends I knew were trying to quit. I feel much better about myself knowing that I don't have to do that anymore just to get my nicotine fix. I feel much better about myself now as a nonsmoker than I ever had as a smoker. And however you feel about yourself is your own issue.
