Sigh

I am so tired of having tourettes sometimes.....I just got made fun of on the street. The guy was totally mimmicking(sp?) my neck twitch.

Plus I got into a car accident last night.

What a shitty way to start the weekend.

That is no good at all. I'm sorry your weekend is not having the best of beginnings. I hope I can help make it better soon. Have you made a decision about tonight yet? Let me know.

YOU are supposed to make the decision! What do YOU feel like doing? I am just following you around tonight, my love.

no no no....that isn't what I want. I am happy with either option...I figured you might have a stronger opinion. Please just say one or the other. I hate making decisions.

I just wathced this show on t.v. the other night. A girl with a really SEVERE case of tourettes got the opportunity to go to the best doctor who could try and treat her. She had tried literally EVERYTHING to help her.
It was SO TRIPPY watching it....she went into surgery and they basically implanted two devices in her lower back that operated something they put in her brain. IT was freakin CRAZY. They were holding a rod in her head and trying to pinpoint the exact location where her brain was mis-firing, then by electrocuting her (while she was awake) they could tell where the spot was. They then had to let her heal for a couple weeks. She came back and they then had to figure out the right frequency that was going to stop the tourettes..if it were to work at all. It was mind blowing. She had the WORST case of tourettes all her life and before all of our very eyes, she was cured!!!!
It was so amazing and joyful. She can now proceed with her life, tourettes free!

That sounds really intense. I've heard of brain surgery "cures" before. Kind of not really that practical in my life as it is but it shows that they are making progress. Meds help but don't cure.

Anyways, thanks for sharing. I am glad it made a difference in her life.
