I put my review up today too; we saw the third performance, last Sunday. Like you, it's a B-level show, that succeeded because of Verdon, and to a lesser extent, Fosse, and the fact that it rode on Pajama Game's coattails.
I had fun, and I thought everyone was in good form, but I felt undernourished at the end. The 94 revisal, which did some things better and some things worse, had pretty much the same effect on me. Total tired businessman show.
I hope next year they have a more inspired choice.
As we were leaving, I thought since Sean Hayes has such great comic and physical timing but has a weak singing voice, what about him replacing Mark Rylance in Boeing, Boeing when he leaves?
