Thanks Ben :) The last two Workplace Behaviour assignments I've managed to submit them at the last minute (very literally).
Plus, Sigmund Freud is a nut! But somehow his theory has made itself into mainstream society, sad sad thought. Yep sure, my anxiety is caused by the conflict of the three aspects of my human psyche... :-S
1986 is the only song I like from them, but it's a tune that catches me. Certainly better than the hit single from George Orwell... oh wait...
Aye, Freud was a nut, but if you're going to be a nut, you may as well go all the way (as Senor Freud did). Seriously, he's not all bad. The version of Freud that's worked its way into mainstream society is not really Freud at all, just a bastardised version of someone's version of someone's version of Freud (usually). But, as a Christian, I don't take him as seriously as I think he'd like to be taken, especially given his views on religion and on sexuality.
Yeah, I must confess, 1986 is the only Ground Effect song I remember, and that's only because it has a bit of an '80s ring to it (and because it's on the Waffle Platter CD).
Well I must say that if I didn't become a Christian, I'd be quite inclined to take his views into account to explain humanity, they fall under the 'logical argument' category, but I could argue that logic is an inherent property of humanity and thus is tainted by the notion of sin (Li, 2004, p. 1).
It's good that there's two parallel conversations going on here, I like it. The Waffle Platter Compilation is on my regular rotation at the moment, some rockin' tunes in that one :).
Let's try three congruent convos... 2 months and 2 days and perhaps 2 hours tell the big moment, your thoughts?
